Understanding and employing the elements of design to photography can bring a new dimension to your visuals. By applying these techniques to my work, I can take an ordinary subject and transform it into a striking photo.
From the time she could hold a marker, Paige Durburow knew her life would be defined by creativity and curiosity. She loved to “play artist” and at the age of five she was captivated by a massive Rubens painting at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. By the age of seven she began her journey as a photographer, thanks to her 110 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles camera!
After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Photography, Paige’s path led her back to Lancaster County. She spent five years working as a graphic designer in the Lititz entertainment industry, using her creative talents to design logos and vinyl graphics, photograph events and do all things branding.
Paige now works as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, bringing her creativity, curiosity and organizational skills to every project. She has created HeyJinx Design as a resource for those who want help creating visuals that are powerful representations of who they are and what they do. Efficiency, imagination and FUN are all part of every experience with HeyJinx Design!
When she’s not out capturing photos with one of her (many!) vintage cameras, Paige loves to ride motorcycles, hike, watch too many movies and travel in her spare time. She can often be found in the kitchen using her culinary creativity to cook for family and friends, or writing one of her many lists!
